The Orchestral Qawwali Project

PRODUCER AND GENERAL MANAGEMENT

The Orchestral Qawwali Project is a one-of-a-kind ensemble, bringing audiences together with a momentum that hasn't been seen in decades: within just three years of its founding, in 2023 the Project performed to sold out houses at London’s Roundhouse and Symphony Hall Birmingham, bringing an astounding 80% new audience to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. They repeated this phenomenon at the Royal Albert Hall, London in May 2024, performing with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and National Youth Choir GB, to a capacity 5,000 strong audience. In October 2024 The Orchestral Qawwali project’s new live recording from their CBSO performance was long-listed in no less than five Grammy Award categories.

The ensemble has breathed new life into centuries-old traditions by seamlessly blending Western Classical, choral, Indian Classical and Sufi music. Since its formation the Project has risen to prominence selling out concert venues around the world and amassing millions of online listeners.
