Ennio is the original quick change artist, revolutionising the art of origami into theatrical magic. Inspired by the craft and Carnevale of his native Venice, Ennio has been delighting audiences across the globe since he burst on to the scene at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1990.
Ennio's wildly entertaining show features a whirlwind of superb paper costumes and split second transformations, a sizzling soundtrack, and tremendous celebrity send-ups. With razor sharp mimicry he morphs into parodies of over 60 popular icons including Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, President Obama, Boy George, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Freddie Mercury, Miley Cyrus, Kate Bush, Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé and Marilyn Monroe – a whole host of brand new characters alongside his much-loved classics. No celebrity is safe!
Ennio performed at the MTV awards (1995) together with several stars he lampoons in his own show such as Prince, George Michael and Bjork and the same year appeared on the Royal Variety Show alongside The Spice Girls and Brian Adams for the HRH Prince Charles. Liza Minnelli and Elton John are huge fans and Ennio performed at Elton's 'White tie and Tiara Ball' in 2001.
Ennio has performed in over 70 countries worldwide, from Singapore to Mexico. His side-splitting mimicry of international figures, incredible craftsmanship and adaptability to different cultures has cemented his reputation as a unique and inimitable artist.
